Tooth Whitening - Make your Smile Look Younger

We are one of the very few beauty salons to offer tooth whitening provided by qualified Dentists. It is illegal and dangerous for non dentists to provide Tooth Whitening.

As we are part of Whole Tooth Dental Practice, one of the dentists will assess whether tooth whitening is suitable, and also advise on any precautions and limitations to acheive a lighter smile, without damaging the teeth.

There have been several recent reports of damage to people's teeth and gums, caused by tooth whitening carried out by non qualified beauty salons and tanning salons. It appears that they have been using industrial products like Chlorine Dioxide, which can dissolve the surface of the tooth. These people are untrained, and as they were acting unlawfully, are being persued by the General Dental Council. 

We offer the tray whitening system, which involves making a custom made whitening tray, similar to a very thin mouthguard. We then provide a Carbamide Peroxide whitening gel, to place in the tray and wear for 1 hour each day. Although this method takes time, it has been proven over the last 15 years, to be the most effective, and least damaging way of tooth whitening. Good results can be achieved within a few weeks.
